ENCOUNTER is a discipleship weekend for students at Church Project, 7th-12th, happening Jan. 19-21. Students stay in host homes during the weekend in order to study the scriptures together in addition to gathering for worship, teaching, and serving various local ministries. This is a fun and meaningful weekend for students that they don't want to miss.
This weekend is an opportunity for many people at Church Project, not only students. People with the gift of hospitality graciously open up their homes to students, young adults joyfully lead students through the study of scripture, people in the Body of Christ serve those around them, and students are called to love and follow Jesus.
What is the focus of the weekend?
There is a craving in our world for realness. The buzzword “authentic” is a buzzword for a reason. We want the people we do life with to be authentic. We want the brands and movements we support to be authentic. We want the experiences and encounters we have to be what they are supposed to be. But what about our faith? Living out a faith that is true and real in today’s world? It’s about being a follower. A Christ-follower. This is what our weekend will focus on.
COST: $69 (includes meals, transportation throughout the weekend, student discipleship booklet, and long sleeve t-shirt).
Students will meet at their respective host homes on Friday, Jan. 18 at 6:30pm and rejoin their parents after the 11am gathering on Sunday.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, JAN. 14 AT MIDNIGHT!
SPOTS ARE LIMITED!

Child Dedication is a special service of prayer & commitment between parents & children, before God and their church. By dedicating a child, a parent vows to follow God's plan in Scripture for raising children and to lead their child to love and follow Jesus.
Parents will make a commitment, and we will pray publicly over the child and family during the main auditorium gathering. A more in depth ceremony will take place in the lounge following the main gathering and will focus individually and intentionally on each child and family. The lounge is where you will receive your child's dedication certificate, a gift from Church Project, read a letter to your child, and have photo opportunities.
In an effort to make this ceremony a meaningful experience for families, we have provided tools to prepare parents for the event. After registering a child, parents will complete a series of short, simple assignments that create an opportunity to reflect & pray for this special day.
REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL.

Fall Retreat is a great opportunity for students to pause from the normal routine of life and simply focus on Jesus. Junior High and High School students will simply get away, grow closer to Christ & each other, and come back refreshed.
Somehow, someway, every marriage becomes a struggle. Everyone’s marriage morphs into something they didn’t intend it to be. At some point you need something sturdier than romance. You need something deeper than shared interests and mutual attraction. You need changed expectations, you need radical commitments, and, most importantly, you need grace.

GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend.Their seminars and support groups are led by people who have been through the program and understand what others are going through. Their purpose is to help individuals and families recover from their loss and look towards rebuilding their lives.
GriefShare has three elements
o Video seminar with experts – 13-week cycle.
o Support group discussion with focus.
o Personal study and reflection.
Each video/group session is “self-contained,” so participants do not have to attend in sequence. Participants can continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos not seen.
Participants purchase a Personal Workbook Study for $20. It is a daily Bible study that helps them discover what God says about their situation. During group discussion, participants are encouraged to share what they’re learning from their Bible study.

Baptism is a picture of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, it is a public display of our faith in Christ, it is obedience to Christ's command to be baptized, and it is following the example of Christ Himself as He was baptized. If you are a follower of Christ, and have not been baptized since you began following Christ, we would like to celebrate baptism with you.
JOIN US ON AUGUST 12TH, 2018 FROM 4 PM TO 5 PM TO PRAY FOR OUR SCHOOLS.
The Prayer Walk is a community-wide gathering of Christ-followers who gather together to pray for our schools. There is no distinction or recognition of any church. Rather, as one Church, one Body of Believers, we will gather together to lift the name of Jesus in prayer over our schools, our teachers, our students and their families, our administrators, and our neighborhoods.
The Prayer Walk - August 12th from 4 to 5 pm.
Our schools are not without God or without hope, as long as Christ-followers walk the halls.
Make plans to gather with fellow Christ-followers throughout our community as we walk the grounds of schools to pray over the new school year. Consider volunteering as a host for a near you.
