Disaster Response Community Outreach - Day 2

We've done a fantastic job of meeting the needs of our own families and neighbors affected by flooding, but now, along with other local churches, we want to bless our wider community with a huge unprecedented response to the recent unprecedented flooding.

5 weeks ago a few hundred homes in our area were damaged, but in last week's flood the number of homes affected is thought to be in the 1000's.

This is our time. This is our chance to make a real difference and share the gospel as we go. If the local church doesn't do it, who will?

This week Church Project is teaming up with Samaritan's Purse to go out into our community. They are a trained disaster response team complete with disaster response chaplains.

The 2 days we have signed up for this week are Wednesday and Saturday. Please be at Church Project for a 7:30am safety briefing. Wear long pants, boots and gloves, and bring a sack lunch. No prior experience necessary. Kids over 14 welcome, if with their parents. This work day is an optional half day or full day. We appreciate any of your time & encourage you to bring others.

If you attended Day 1 of community outreach, meet at CP at 8AM, as you have already completed safety briefing.
